Some activities organized by Presqu’ile Provincial Park:

Friday, August 7th, 2015 - Park Amphitheatre at 8 p.m.

Dan Buchanan will be telling the story of Dr. King – one of Brighton’s notorious residents of yore – who murdered his wife and tried to get away with it.

Saturday, August 8th, 2015 – Park Picnic Area (along the Loop Road) at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.

The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada – Belleville chapter is in again to do sun viewing.  They have special telescopes that let you look at the sun safely.  They also have some cool filters that show the different element spectrums that are quite colorful.  This only goes if there are no clouds, obviously.  They will be in the picnic grounds.

Saturday, August 8th, 2015 – Park Amphitheatre at 7 p.m.

The Centre for the Conservation of Specialized Species is coming in again with their captive birds of prey.  Good information and they have live birds!  A chance to get up very close and see these magnificent creatures.
