One of the most ambitious bird tracking initiatives in the world is leading to spectacular discoveries! MOTUS Program Manager Stuart Mackenzie will explain the project, share some of the discoveries, and discuss how this technology will aid in conservation efforts.

We will search for early migrants and breeding birds. Dress for the weather and bring water. This will be a morning outing. Meet at Hwy 45/401 car pool lot at 8 a.m. or the Pratt Road entrance at 8:30 a.m. Directions to the property: Drive north on Cty. Rd. 45 to Cty. Rd. 29. Turn east. Follow Cty. Rd. 29 through the village of Burnley. Turn right onto Pratt Rd. and follow it to the sign at the entrance gate.
