Northumberland Land Trust Event - McEwen Nature Reserve
Saturday, July 7 – 9:00 a.m. until early afternoon

The NLT Stewardship Team is mounting a serious attack on dog-strangling vine at the McEwen Nature Reserve. The plan is to set a line of flags across the field so that three members with sprayers can walk across the field in a line, then move the flags down the field, and so on. As many volunteers as possible are needed to help move the flag line.

If you would like to help for even part of the time, please contact John Geale (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or Bill Newell (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). This event will depend on the weather.

Directions: From the intersection of County Roads 28 and 9, go west on CR 9 to Garden Hill, which is at CR 10. Turn north (right) to the 10th Line (approx. 4 km). Turn west (left) and continue under the old railway bridge until you come to a sharp left bend in the road where Walker Road meets the 10th Line. We will park here and walk west (15 minutes) to the property.
