Sunday, November 5, 2017 - Birding outing to lakeshore from Wicklow Beach to Lucas Point

Meet at Cobourg Harbour at 8 a.m. (Please note that this is the day that we return to Eastern Standard Time). This is a half day outing. Dress for the weather and bring water and snacks if you wish.

Brighton-area photographer and educator Leslie Abram will share her passion for nature in this presentation on how the insects in your backyard adapt to survive and thrive. Leslie's goal with her photography is to ignite people's curiosity about the amazing living things that share our earth. Ultimately, she hopes to encourage people to get outside, look closely, and reconnect with nature.

Saturday, October 14, 2017 - Birding outing to Prince Edward County South Shore IBA, led by Peter Fuller, Chair of Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory. This will be a full day outing and will be a joint outing with Prince Edward County Field Naturalists. Meet at Hwy. 45 and 401 car pool lot at 7 a.m. or at Prince Edward Point at 9 a.m. There is a chance to stay into the evening to see Northern Saw-whet Owl banding.
