A WBFN membership survey is being circulated with the January issue of the Curlew. There are several ways that members can submit their feedback. One option of a Survey Monkey link will be forwarded in the near future. Members are requested to submit their response before the close of the survey on Feb. 10, 2018.

Your executive will use the feedback from the survey to help prioritize future club activities.

The online survey will expire on February 11th; please fill it in as soon as possible; it will only take a few minutes.

Colin has worked in natural resource management for 25 years, specifically in fisheries and fish habitat management. He has held positions in the private sector in British Columbia (Pacific coast and central interior), in Fisheries and Oceans Canada (Northwest Territories), and in the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. Colin has been with the Lake Ontario Management Unit for approximately twelve years in various positions; his current role is Lead Planning Biologist.

If you would like to learn more about Christmas Bird Counts, please contact the compilers that are listed above. Feeder counters are always welcome, but check with the compiler to make sure your feeder is in the area covered by the count. All of these counts have a gathering after the count to share a meal and total up the lists of birds seen.
