Long-tailed Duck in Cobourg Harbour, a likely waterfowl species to see during the next WBFN outing

Meet at Cobourg Harbour at 8:30 a.m. We will likely search the Rice Lake Shore and Garden Hill Conservation Area for migrant ducks, geese and swans. This will be a half day outing.

Launch of New Website
The Willow Beach Field Naturalists new website is now live. WordPress is behind the scenes which allows for club volunteers to directly create and edit pages on the site. Also new are the Smugmug photo galleries and Google Drive archives. During the next meeting on March 29 there will be a brief presentation and orientation on the new website.

NLT & LPLT Speaker Series – March 21, 2019
Blazing Star Environmental has spent the last two years trying to find and protect ‘lost’ populations of species at risk (SAR) reptiles and amphibians in Northumberland County.
Presentations are at Venture 13 building at 739 D’Arcy St, in Cobourg, Ontario. 7-9 p.m. Everyone is welcome to these free presentations. More details on the web sites of Northumberland Land Trust and Lone Pine Land Trust.
