Citizen science

The Willow Beach Field Naturalists has some really great birders, but you don’t need to be an expert to help us count birds. Every year we participate in official bird counts that serve as a valuable record of trends in bird populations over time. Beginners are welcome and it can be a great way to improve your birding skills. It’s also a whole lot of fun!

If you would like to take part in these full day counts as a field observer, please contact the compilers who are listed below and they will assign you to a team. Home feeder counters are also welcome to contribute.
